Clean and slice the mushrooms.

Melt the butter in a pot, add the mushrooms and sauté for 8 minutes until golden.

Add 3 cups of water or veg broth with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Stir in qishta and warm gently for 2 minutes without boiling.

Optionally pulse-blend for a creamier texture, or serve as is.
